Sammy’s modeling our raised pet cots that are placed in each kennel to protect elbows from hygromas. A hygroma forms when the dog rests on a fairly hard surface. The pressure of his weight has created tissue damage over the elbow bones. The area is not able to heal because of the repeated tissue damage from the dog simply resting on his elbows. A fluid pocket forms as the body attempts to create its own cushion. This fluid pocket is called a hygroma. Thank you to my vet Dr. Geoff Berthiaume for the ongoing education over all these years!

Boarding your babe at Find Your Inner Dog is like holiday camp for your pup! We welcome all breeds and size dogs. In order for your dog to settle right in, we require (1) that he or she be fully kennel trained to sleep comfortably  overnight and (2) not want to eat us. If he’s not kennel trained, we can train you both ahead of time so that the transition into boarding with us is a smooth one. If he wants to eat us, we can schedule this as training but we need to plan for that ahead of time. Dianne is the only one who handles bite dogs.

Go on vacation knowing your pup is safe at home with our family. He or she will receive all the comforts of home while you're away.  Your dog will live inside our home with the same luxuries our pack enjoys.  In addition to two meals daily, we offer exercise, play time and cuddle time, too. During the hot months, a treadmill workout with 30’ misting system is the way to go with a cool down swim to follow (assuming your dog has already been trained).  Swim and treadmill lessons may be added on at a discounted rate or we can hang in the baby pool.

One-on-one play time with Dianne and Rob, raised pet cots as shown above, snacks, and a massage at bedtime, ALL FREE, will send your pup into sweet dreams. Most medications are administered at no extra charge. With your permission, holiday meals and homemade bowls of soup are served, too!  Yep, the dogs eat roast turkey, mashed sweet potatoes and steamed veggies with pup pumpkin pudding!

Before you complete any paperwork, it’s easiest to call or text me with the dates your have in mind to see if we have an opening. Space is limited so don’t hesitate to schedule months in advance. We’d also like you to visit our property with your pup so that we can all get to know each other. 602-647-0919.

  • Please complete either the full-length Boarding/Live-In Training Contract for your first visit OR the Boarding Addendum for your subsequent visits.

$55/day for the first dog; $25/day for subsequent dogs. We bill on 24 hour cycles.

$27.50/half day (4 hours or less).

Closed on Mondays and Fridays. For a nominal fee of $25 per occurrence, arrangements can be made in advance for drop off and pick up after hours and on closed days if we’re available. We do our best to maintain family time while also doing our best to accommodate you. Please ask for anything you need!

Beautiful Bobo the ball boy was so lost and misunderstood. Then we found each other. He just needed a specialized trainer who “got” him, knew how to communicate with him and harness that energy from a whole different way of thinking. He’s a regular here for boarding!
